The cottage is bright and open-plan, with patio doors, wood burner, and wooden floors and attractive beams throughout. It has one large double bedroom with king sized bed and ensuite, offering a high-powered shower, and a deep bath to soak in after your daily activities. It has a fully-fitted modern kitchen, and free WiFi throughout the property.

9/10 - We really enjoyed our stay at Bank Top Cottage. It’s in a beautiful setting and the accommodation is very comfortable. We were given a warm welcome by the owner and we had a great time exploring the local area.

10/ 10 - Very well appointed for a holiday cottage for two people. Enough space and cooking equipment to have a couple of friends for dinner. Lovely surroundings with a pub and craft brewery 50m away.

9/10 - Bank Top Cottage is a great spacious cottage for a couple wanting a quiet few days away. Situated a few miles from shops and cafes but has a good pub serving food only 500 yards from the door.
Only a short drive to popular attractions like the Yorkshire steam railway, Whitby and Scarborough. The cottage was spotlessly clean, with an adequately equipped kitchen area for preparing simple meals, a very large bedroom and en-suite and a lovely log fire in the lounge.
Our 3rd visit to Bank Top Cottage and I’m sure won’t be the last.

9/10 - Excellent holiday in the spacious, well equipped and comfortable cottage. WiFi signal very good. Situated in a lovely quiet location close to the Moors and coast, but also the towns of Pickering and Helmsley. Would definitely return.
